Mac

Current daily driver is the base model M1 Mac Air. Always thought of myself as a Windows kinda guy but the M1 was too good to refuse and I have never looked back. 256gb is definitely not enough though, and I'm eyeing the M2.

Still have an Mini-ITX PC in a Dancase A4 by my side for any gaming necessities though.

Apps I use

  • Alfred - Spotlight if it was actually good
  • Pocket - I store interesting articles here
  • VSCode - My editor of choice, no complaints
  • Shottr - A better way to take screenshots and annotate them
  • Brave - Built-in adblock, made with Chromium, pays in the form of BAT

Use TouchID for sudo access
  1. open terminal and type cd /etc/pam.d/
  2. add the following to below the first line using a text editor (if you have VSCode you can type .code to open the current directory)
  3. find the sudo file and open it
  4. add this auth sufficient pam_tid.so right below # sudo: auth line
  5. save and you're done! you should be able to use touchid to grant sudo access in the terminal.
